Have you got a spare room close to one of our facilities in Grangegorman, Blanchardstown, Bolton Street, Aungier Street or Tallaght?
The Accommodation Service at TU Dublin is currently updating its Host Family database for students that will begin the next academic year in September 2022.
What does a Host Family do?
Host Families can provide accommodation to students on a self-catering, bed and breakfast or full board basis, charging between €165 and €220 a week. Typically students choose to stay five or seven nights a week; however, in some cases, it could be as little as three days for approximately €140. If you let a room in your home to a student, the income earned (up to €14,000) may be exempt from tax. More information about Rent-a-Room Relief is available from the Irish Revenue website.
How do I register?
To advertise a room to TU Dublin students, you can create an advert on TU Dublin Student Pad. The step-by-step registration process will take you through account setup and placing your ad on the site.
