Outline
According to a survey conducted by UniSafe between January and May 2022 which included over 42,000 respondents across 46 universities, nearly 2 in 3 respondents have experienced Gender-Based Violence in academic contexts. This training explores the issue of gender-based violence in research settings, focusing on practical examples of how these episodes can impact researchers both on a personal and professional level.  Participants will gain insights into the current definitions of GBV with practical exercises on its origins, forms and behaviours and will be provided with concrete advice on how to address instances of GBV.
