- 2020: Obtained a BSc (1st class Honours) in DNA & forensic Analysis.
- 2020 to 2024: Research assistant within the MiCRA Biodiagnostics EI Gateway, working on a variety of projects with industry clients focused on analytical techniques.
- 2024: Joined the CREST team as a Senior Research Assistant. Working on AD ASTRA, a DTIF funded project in partnership with Plasma Bound and Eirecomposites. The aim of the project is to investigate the use of a novel atmospheric pressure plasma process as a surface treatment prior to adhesive bonding and painting in the aerospace sector.
- Also working towards a PhD titled “The Chemistry Inside the Cup: Examining the Molecular Profile of Coffee Beans”. The research is focused on spectroscopic and hyphenated analytical techniques in monitoring the evolution of odorants and flavonoids from coffee beans.
