Dr Swarna Jaiswal is a Lecturer in Applied Microbiology at TU Dublin-City Campus in Ireland, with over a decade of research and consultancy experience in food packaging and applied microbiology. She had an impressive portfolio of over 25 commercial and academic projects, including biodegradable active packaging film, antimicrobial coating, and biomaterials, multifunctional coatings for biodegradable medical devices; she collaborates with various SMEs and MNCs in Ireland and the UK, providing research consultancy services. Dr. Jaiswal's diverse background includes prior experience as a Plant Microbiologist at Abbott Nutrition in Ireland and earning a BSc (Biotechnology Hons) in 2005, MSc (Biotechnology) in 2007, PhD (Biomaterials) in 2012, and an MBA in 2015; her contributions to the field have led to over 75 published articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, as well as frequent presentations at conferences and seminars.
