I work within the quality department of a medical device company.

My research focuses on the impact industry can have on the employment trajectory of Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA) students within DEIS communities. My interest stems from living in a geographic area which falls under this description and working in an organisation which has three offices based in DEIS communities.

My research will focus on a positive approach to the discussion around socio-economic diversity in the workplace and the role of industry in addressing the Global Sustainable Development Goals of   No Poverty (SDG1) and Quality Education (SDG4).
