Andrea Reger
PhD Student
Andrea Reger is a dedicated researcher currently pursuing a PhD at Technological University Dublin. Her research aims to explore the reasons behind female midlife career transitions in Ireland, utilizing Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). As a pracademic, Andrea combines extensive industry experience with academic expertise in various fields, including Human Resources & Recruitment, Teaching, Career Coaching, and Entrepreneurship. Her work also encompasses Mindfulness, Well-being, and Holistic Wellness Entrepreneurship.
Prior to her PhD, Andrea managed recruitment programs and teams in leading companies across the airline, tech, and higher education sectors. As a self-employed business owner, she has offered professional services such as Career and Life Coaching, holistic workshops, training courses, and events. She has collaborated with companies like Amazon, Autodesk, and Avolon to deliver Workplace Wellness & Mindfulness programs.
Andrea’s teaching experience is diverse, ranging from working as a Primary School teacher in Hungary to serving as a Cabin Crew trainer at Ryanair in Ireland. She is also a self-employed Ceremonial Cacao facilitator trainer at ARCH Training Academy in Ireland.
Andrea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching from Lorand Eotvos University, Budapest, where she completed a thesis on Motivation. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from The National College of Ireland. Her master’s thesis, which examined LinkedIn’s impact on recruitment processes in Irish multinational companies, was awarded Distinction and published as a book in 2017. Additionally, she holds a Licentiate in Homeopathy from the Irish School of Homeopathy.
Andrea is an Associate Member of CIPD UK, a member of the Irish Society of Homeopaths, a certified Ceremonial Cacao Facilitator, a qualified sound healer, and a member of the Complementary Medical Association, UK.
