Hector Diego Estrada-Lugo is a researcher in the Human Factors In Safety and Sustainability (HFISS) research group at TU Dublin. He completed his PhD on risk and resilience assessment of critical safety systems using probabilistic methods such as Bayesian and credal networks at the University of Liverpoo in 2022.
Hector is currently the Research Project Manager of the MSCA-ITN called CISC (GA no. 955901). He is also a postdoctoral researcher at TU Dublin focusing on collaborative intelligence, risk assessment, resilience assessment, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
His extracurricular activities involve being the Secretary of the Irish Human Factors and Ergonomics Society; at-large member of the Society for Imprecise Probabilities: Theories and Applications; member of the Organizational and Technical committee of the ESREL2022 conference.
