GENESIS at Environ 2025

Green Chemistry Biocatalysis (GENESIS project) researchers presented their work at Environ 2025 in UCD from the 10th-12th March 2025.

Whilst the whole Green Chemistry Biocatalysis Group attended Environ 2025, three presented their current research: 

  1. Ebin K. Baby presented a poster on Novel Alcohol Dehydrogenase Activation by the Choline Component of Deep Eutectic Solvents
  2. Amin Heydari Espoui presented a poster on Identification of organisms producing extracellular solvent stable lipases for biocatalytic applications
  3. An oral presentation by Muhammad Aitzaz Akram on Statistical Optimisation of Recombinant Amycolatopsis mediterranei Cutinase Expression for Polymer Degradation
