Short Summary:

She was appointed as an Assistant Professor and Section Head for Food Science at the D.Y.Patil deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai, India from 2015-2018 during which she supervised over dozen postgraduate students for their research projects. From 2019-2021 she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Teagasc, Dublin, Ireland on two different projects MUSSELS (EMFF funded) and MEESO (EU H-2020) and then at University of Limerick (2021-2022) on SarcoBlu (DAFM funded) project.

She has been a recipient of several travel grants from national organizations in India (DST, DBT, CICS, ICMR) and has won the graduate technical writing award at IFT-2014 in New Orleans, USA. She is also a co-leader of working group WG-3 in the COST action Ocean4Biotech CA18238, member of FULLRECO4US and MC member of ACRYRED. She received EU funding for a short-term scientific mission in 2022 (STSM) at Department of Food Science, University of Copenhagen for research on microalgae.
