About
Irina is Research Fellow in Trinity College Dublin since 2022. Her position is co-funded by Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Career FIT plus programme. Her project is “Enhance RF Antenna Design based on Additive Manufacturing”. She is currently working on RF characterization of materials for 3D printing and advanced 3D printed antenna design.
She got her PhD degree in 2016. Her PhD thesis was devoted to 1D metamaterial application to the passive microwave device with enhanced performance. During her PhD studentship and after it she had a several international internships in the UK, European and Chinese universities and institutes.
From 2017 to 2022 she was a principal investigator in the research project “Reconfigurable beamformer with beamspace diversity”, which was supported by Russian Science Foundation.
