Dr Shynu S.V. Nair
Research AssistantPh.D. in Microwave Electronics (Cochin University of Science & Technology, India)
About
Shynu Nair was a Research Assistant with the Antennas & High Frequency Research Centre at the Dublin Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010. He was working on "Combined PV and Cellular Antenna Panel for Building Façade Integration" which is sponsored by the Science Foundation Ireland and is being run in conjuction with Dublin Energy Lab. Shynu completed his PhD in Microwave Electronics from Cochin University of Science and Technology, (CUSAT), Kochi, India in 2008. He is a recipient of STEC Junior Research Fellowship of Goverment of Kerala, India, in 2002. He worked as a research fellow in the Centre for Research in Electromagnetics and Antennas (CREMA) in Dept of Electronics, CUSAT, India. His research was focused on electronically reconfigurable dual frequency microstrip antennas, beam steering leaky wave antennas and FDTD analysis of microstrip antennas. Prior to joining DIT, Dublin, he worked as a Project Fellow in the UGC, India on a major project entitled, "Development of Electronically Reconfigurable Microstrip Antennas for Mobile and Satellite Communication Systems" at Department of Electronics, CUSAT, Kochi.
