About

David Kearney was a Part-Time Masters Research student in the Dublin Institute of Technology’s Antennas & High Frequency Research Centre. He completed his MPhil in 2009. His research on "Small Antenna Options for Ultra-Wideband Applications" was funded by TDK Electronics Ireland, where David has worked as a Front End Module and Antenna Design Engineer since 2001. His work at TDK has included various Ceramic Chip Antenna designs for Bluetooth, WiMAX & UWB applications and their integration into portable devices such as Handsets, PDAs, Laptops etc.
