Ms Ann Conway has completed her MSc in Food Safety Management (2021) and BSc (Hons) in Food Innovation (2019) and Food Science and Nutrition (Hons) from Pearse College (2015). Her Master's dissertation was based on the “Consumer Perception and Concerns Regarding the Consumption of Insects and Insect-based Foodstuffs” and for this work, she has received “Best Research Project for Food Safety Management MSc 2022”. Later she joined as a PhD researcher on the project entitled “Insects as a Nutritional Food Source Suitable for Human Consumption”. Ann has created insect-based “Crick-N-Root” cupcakes. She has a passion for Food Innovation, Sustainability, Entomophagy and Start-up Companies.
