Dr. Amit Jaiswal is a lecturer at TU Dublin, where he teaches food technology and industrial biotechnology to undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is also the chair of the MSc programme in Sustainable Food Safety Management at TU Dublin's City Campus. Dr. Jaiswal's research interests include lignocellulosic biomass conversion into biofuels, biomaterials, and biochemicals using innovative processes, as well as the development of novel food processing technologies for extracting functional and nutritional ingredients from natural sources. Additionally, he works on developing biodegradable and compostable materials for packaging. Dr. Jaiswal is editorial board member of several prominent journals in the area of food science and biotechnology and has authored over 150 publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and review papers, with an h-index of 38 and over 5,500 citations. Overall, his work emphasizes the importance of sustainable food production and the development of eco-friendly technologies and process for a better future.
