Eoin joined CERI as a Research Officer in September 2021. Having previously completed a BSc and MSc in Sport Science in Loughborough University in the UK, he qualified as an Optometrist in DIT (Kevin St). He worked in private practice for a number of years, before joining CERI where he is involved in clinical research across a range of studies. Eoin is undertaking his PhD at present researching "Child and Activity and Myopia" looking specifically at the role of physical activity and environmental light in refractive error progression and ocular changes.
