Dr. Róisín Murphy is a Senior Lecturer with over twenty years’ academic experience in developing, delivering and managing academic and professional programme across from level 6 to 10 on the NFQ. Prior to joining TU Dublin (formerly DIT) in 2000, for a number of years she held the position of Assistant Registrar in the largest private college in Dublin.
Róisín holds a joint honours BA(Hons) degree in Economics and History from University College Dublin (UCD); Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurial Studies and Master of Business Studies from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and both a MSc Strategic Focus and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University.
Her subject specialisms include construction and property economics, labour market analysis, strategic management for built environment professionals and education for sustainable development.
Róisín has acted as won several competitive scholarships for research and has led numerous PhD candidates to successful completion both through traditional PhD programmes and PhD by publication. She has been awarded a number of industry funded research projects from a variety of stakeholders across the property and construction sectors with national and international impact.
