Frank oversees TU Dublin's Real Estate and Valuations programs, managing the academic curriculum and research initiatives. With extensive experience in valuations and land consultancy, particularly in planning and development issues, Frank brings practical expertise to the academic realm.
Frank's doctorate compiled a long-run series of agricultural land data and critically examined the DCF method of valuation on land prices. An expert in Part V valuations, his research focuses on existing use value, development value, and land value capture. Related research interests include land use economics and integrated affordable housing.
Frank is a fellow of the SCSI and has held leadership positions on various boards. He also serves on the MSRC of the IVSC, contributing to the development and maintenance of global valuation standards.
Frank has a strong track record in PhD supervision and currently supervises postgrads in the areas of AVMs, transparency in real estate, and valuation standards. Other projects include viability and market studies in real estate and forestry and a book chapter on Property Tax in Ireland.
