Dr. Audrey MARTIN FSCSI is a senior lecturer in the School of Surveying and Construction Innovation at TU Dublin. She is the Chair of the BSc in Geospatial Surveying and has previously chaired the MSc in Geospatial Engineering. Her main area of expertise is Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and Geodetic Surveying. 

Audrey has been actively involved in the design and online international delivery of eLearning modules for CPD. She is a graduate from TU Dublin Geo-Surveying and obtained a Survey Engineering Degree (Dipl.Ing.) from University for Applied Sciences Jade Hochschule, Germany. She was awarded her PhD from the Engineering Faculty of University College Dublin in 2000.

Audrey a Chartered surveyor (SCSI) and a past Chair of the SCSI Geomatics professional Group.  She is the current academic delegate to EuroSDR (Spatial Data Research group for National Mapping Agencies) and a past chair of International Federation of surveyors (FIG) Working Group 2.2 ‘Innovative Learning and Teaching’.

Audrey was a DIT Teaching Fellow from 2010-2011 after developing a range of GeoLearn – MultiMedia Learning Resources and has won both the College Teaching Excellence Award (2010) and the School Teaching Excellence Award (2005).

Audrey has supervised two consecutive winners (2012 and 2014) of the Trimble Dimensions International Student Paper competition resulting in a combined donation of $80 000 survey equipment to TU Dublin. In addition, she has been either solely, or as part of a team, successful in a number of competitive research funding bids. She is a reviewer on a number of international journals.
