As one of the sector leads for the ARISE | TU Dublin initiative, Ruth plays a key role in connecting the expertise of TU Dublin with the needs of enterprises in food, agritech, bioeconomy, and sustainability. She identifies companies that could benefit from TU Dublin’s support, builds strong relationships with them, and manages a pipeline of engagement opportunities.

- MSc (Agr) in Sustainable Agriculture, UCD (First-Class Honours)
- MSc in Marketing Practice, UCD Smurfit Business School
- MBA (Cum Laude), SDA Bocconi, Milan
- BA in Economics and Business, Trinity College Dublin
Experience: Ruth brings over 25 years of industry experience. Most recently, she worked as a senior industry advisor with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, supporting the growth of agrifood SMEs. She has also contributed to funding feasibility studies for the African Development Bank and supported government food sector strategies in developing countries through Farrelly Mitchell consultancy. Earlier in her career, Ruth worked in marketing and innovation with leading food and drink companies like Britvic Ireland, Johnson & Johnson, and PZ Cussons, in both local and international markets.
