TU Dublin's Engaged Research Network coordinated by the Research Engagement and Impact Office

Published: 1 Feb, 2024

Researchers, academic staff, professional and support services staff and research students from across TU Dublin recently met for an in-person workshop to re-launch the university’s Engaged Research Network.

Engaged Research is designed collaboratively with the people most affected by or interested in the issues it addresses (particularly people whose voices don’t feature very often in research), to maximise impact. It addresses societal challenges and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The network meeting was coordinated by the Research Engagement and Impact Office. 22 enthusiastic network members explored how they might like to start or deepen their engaged research practice, how the network might develop and grow, and how TU Dublin might support new and experienced researchers to build their engaged research practice.

If you’d like to join the Engaged Research Network group on Teams, so you can share your ideas, meet like-minded people, and keep up to date with developments, please email engagementandimpact@tudublin.ie.
