TU Dublin Welcomes Czech Academy of Sciences
Yesterday, 04 March 2025, TU Dublin was honoured to host a distinguished delegation from the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS) to strengthen international collaboration in research and innovation. The delegation, led by Ambassador Pavel Vošalík and Prof. David Honys, engaged in discussions with TU Dublin leadership and researchers on key topics in the areas of environmental, food, life sciences, and commercialisation of research.
Following a campus tour, Dr Brendan Jennings, Vice President for Research and Innovation, led presentations on TU Dublin’s research initiatives, experiences of working with international collaborators, research engagement, the research/policy interface, knowledge transfer and innovation, and specific areas of expertise of commonality. A networking session provided an opportunity for deeper discussions on potential collaborations. The visit concluded with a meeting between TU Dublin President, Dr Deirdre Lillis and the Czech delegation, marking a significant step toward future joint research projects.
