Three Computer Science Students Showcase Their Research at HealthInf 2024
Three PhD students from TU Dublin's School of Computer Science presented their research at HealthInf 2024, the 17th International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies held in Rome in February.
Ekaterina Uetova, a student on the D-REAL Center for Research Training programme, supervised by Dympna O'Sullivan and Robert Ross presented her paper "Chatting for Change: Insights into and Directions for Using Online Peer Support Groups to Interrupt Prolonged Workplace Sitting".
Abdullahi Abubakar Kawu, also a student on the D-REAL Center for Research Training programme, supervised by Dympna O'Sullivan presented his paper "Exploring the Design of Low-End Technology to Increase Patient Connectivity to Electronic Health Records".
Liliya Makhmutova, a student on the ML Labs programme, supervised by Robert Ross, presented her paper "Automated Medical Text Simplification for Enhanced Patient Access".
