TU Dublin Access and Outreach collaborating with Workday to celebrate and recognise Women in Space as part of the STEAM: Try Five + Project.
It was fantastic to see over 400 pupils from 11 primary schools dive into the amazing world of Women in STEM and space exploration during #SpaceWeek. With the support of Workday TU Dublin Access and Outreach ran a competition that asked primary school pupils in 4th class to research and create posters celebrating the unsung heroes—the women whose contributions to science and space are often forgotten but have left an indelible mark on our world. 25 brilliant pupils were selected, and it was truly inspiring to see them present their posters, full of passion and knowledge, to Workday employees on Tuesday 8th October. The energy and excitement in the room were contagious as the pupils shared their discoveries and stories! A huge thank you to Workday’s Victoria MacKechnie and Colm Canning for sponsoring and hosting this amazing event, and for your dedication to inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders.
