Over 1,200 CAO Applicants Receive Round Zero Offer From TU Dublin

(Thursday, 8 August 2024) Ireland’s largest technological university, TU Dublin, has made 1,581 Round Zero Offers to 1,259 CAO applicants today. Round Zero offers are to applicants not competing with those awaiting 2024 Leaving Certificate examination grades, including mature and QQI applicants. Those who have received an offer are reminded to accept online via www.cao.ie by 3pm on Tuesday, 13  August 2024, to secure their course of choice.

Senior Manager for Admissions Bob Ó Mhurcú explains that TU Dublin aims to be Ireland’s most accessible university. “TU Dublin is proud to be Ireland’s most diverse university, and we provide multiple entry routes to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to pursue higher education. Today, we have made 1,581 Round Zero offers to 1,259 CAO applicants, which includes mature applicants and QQI applicants that have completed Further Education courses from across Ireland.”

Other TU Dublin statistics include:

  • 22.3%  of all Round Zero offers nationwide were made by TU Dublin (1,581 of 7,082)
  • 23.4% of applicants receiving a Round Zero offer received one from TU Dublin
  • TU Dublin made 14.8% of all Level 8 offers in Round Zero
  • TU Dublin made 35.4% of all Level 6/7 offers in Round Zero

Round Zero CAO offers are now available to view and accept online from 10am at www.cao.ie, with successful applicants also receiving an email and a text message (if they have selected this option) with details of their offer.
