  • Unibuddy: Become a Digital Student Ambassador on Unibuddy, our online platform for chatting with prospective students.
  • Work with the University's Social Media to create content about life at the University.

This is a very flexible role with the number of hours varying monthly. We allow students to work as much as they feel able, fitting in with coursework and exam schedules. The Student Ambassador contract is usually a 10-month one from September to June.

We will shortly be recruiting for the next Academic Year. The first event will be Orientation on September 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2024, across all TU Dublin campuses. Training will take place during the first two weeks of September—dates to be confirmed.

Here’s what our past and current Student Ambassadors say....

If you love your course and what you do at TU Dublin, then don't hide it! Being a student ambassador gives you the opportunity to represent your course as well as student life at TU Dublin, to be there for students who were once in your position, not sure what course was for them or what student life is like, I think being a student ambassador is like volunteering, getting paid is a bonus! I would also recommend the Peer Mentor program and the LIFT and LEAD Award. You can't get back a missed opportunity!

Alan

Being a student ambassador gave me the opportunity to meet students, staff from other disciplines and other university staff.  It gave me confidence speaking to people and I also learned more about the university and the support and opportunities available.

Naomi

Being a student Ambassador has been really helpful for managing my course and being able to work a bit on the side. If you're thinking about doing it, I'd definitely recommend it.
