TU Dublin Hosts Afri Hedge School 2023 - Wednesday, 15 November 2023
TU Dublin Community Development and Youth Work Year 3 students and lecturers, in partnership with Afri (Action from Ireland), will host the Afri Hedge School 2023 on Wednesday, 15 November, from 10:00am to 4.00pm.
The event is organised by Year 3 students of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Community Development and Youth Work course, in partnership with Afri (Action from Ireland), as part of their module about Principles of Human Rights.
The theme for Afri Hedge School 2023 is:
'Resilience in a Time of Crisis'
Poverty, Cost of Living, War and Conflict and Climate Change.
The Sustainable Development Goals will provide a framework to address these current crises today, locally and globally.
Event Details
The event will take place on TU Dublin's Blanchardstown campus - Block C, Sports Hall. It is a free event; however, advance booking is essential as spaces are limited. The event will commence promptly at 10am, with attendees asked to arrive at 9:30am for registration.
