Connecting the Dots - Creating impact through Teaching and Learning

Published: 30 May, 2023

In timing with the end of the 2022/2023 academic term, the Sustainability Team will partner with the LTA Team and the University Education Model Team to host an afternoon of workshops on innovative teaching and learning practices. The new Sustainability Education Toolkit will also be launched during the event.

The afternoon will provide attendees with a forum to “connect the dots” between new and existing developments - such as the University Education Model, sustainability education, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and technology-enhanced education,– to create a picture of TU Dublin’s new model of education producing the most sought-after digitally-literate graduates.

The topics to be explored include embedding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in your teaching; UDL; using Vevox for student engagement; the new University Education Model; and more. The format is informal and discursive, and we hope the event will also provide an opportunity for colleagues to connect and relax after a busy and intense academic year.
