TU Dublin Business & Management Students At International Student Competition
Next week, an undergraduate team comprising final year students from the BSc Business and Management programme will compete at the John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition at Concordia University in Canada.
Cathal Kelly, Eve Clifford, Darragh O Dwyer, and Rory Geoghegan - all Final Year Students on the BSc Business and Management programme - will challenge themselves, competing against teams from 27 other universities from around the world.
The team was selected and coached by Dr Eoghan O'Grady, who said, "Our continued involvement in these and other case competitions are a critical prong of our signature pedagogy, i.e. case study learning and allow TU Dublin students to challenge themselves against teams from some of the top business schools around the world. It does so much to increase TU Dublin's profile and reputation on the world stage as well of course of providing a great learning and networking opportunities for team coaches and team delegates."
Dr Pat Kenny, Programme Director of the BSc Business & Management and BSc Business & Law programmes, praised the commitment of both students and teaching staff in preparing for international case study competitions. "We are very proud of the students on our global case study teams. They consistently compete at a high level because of their own personal commitment and work ethic combined with the technical, analytical, conceptual and interpersonal skills which are developed by our expert lecturers across all four years of the degree programmes."
