TU Dublin is hosting a Springboard+ information evening on the University's Tallaght Campus on Thursday, 16 June, from 5 to 7pm. It is your opportunity to discover all you need to know about our Springboard+ offering and how you can submit an application.
Last month, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Simon Harris, and Minister of State for Skills and Further Education, Niall Collins, announced funding for 600 places on 25 courses across many disciplines at TU Dublin.
What is Springboard?
The Springboard+ upskilling initiative offers free and subsidised courses from levels 6 to 9, leading to qualifications in areas with employment opportunities in the economy.
Springboard+ courses are available to the unemployed, returners (formerly homemakers), formerly self-employed, the employed and recent graduates. Most of the courses are offered part-time for a maximum of 12 months and are open to all eligible applicants regardless of their employment status.
What is the cost?
Courses are free for people who are: unemployed, previously self-employed or returning to the workforce. They are also free for employed people on NFQ Level 6 courses. For employed participants on courses NFQ level 7 to 9, 90% of the course fee is funded by the state, with students required to contribute just 10% of the fee.
What can I study at TU Dublin?
