Shelbourne FC is delighted to reveal a new multi-faceted and mutually beneficial strategic partnership with Technological University Dublin - Ireland’s first Technology University.

TU Dublin has six facilities across Dublin, including campuses in Grangegorman, in Blanchardstown and in Tallaght, and, through its major infrastructural development plan, are currently investing over €500 million in new, state-of-the-art, technology-enabled facilities to enhance the students' experience.

TU Dublin will feature as the front of jersey sponsor of our FAI Women's National League team, the current Champions of Ireland, and will also be the back-of-jersey sponsor for our U17 and U19 WNL teams.

Shelbourne's entire female setup will now train in state-of-the-art training sporting facilities in TU Dublin to ensure the best training environment for women's football in Ireland. In addition, TU Dublin students will be able to access work placement opportunities in several disciplines and benefit from discounted ticketing for Shels' home games in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division and FAI Women's National League.

TU Dublin will benefit from extensive digital media collaboration and in-stadium signage for Shelbourne home games at Tolka Park as part of the significant partnership.

Shelbourne FC, Chief Executive Officer, David O'Connor said: "We are absolutely delighted to announce this incredibly exciting partnership with TU Dublin today. This marks a significant milestone in the development of our Club, as it provides us with unrivalled access to world-class facilities and expertise for our WNL setup and much more. We are looking forward to engaging meaningfully with TU Dublin and its student base, in being able to offer work placement opportunities and in welcoming TU Dublin staff and students to Tolka Park. I would like to thank TU Dublin management for welcoming us as partners and for all of their work in forming this partnership, which is based on our shared values of community, excellence and inclusion. We believe that today is the start of a long and fruitful partnership that will deliver incredible value for both parties in its development."

Head of Sport, Christy O'Shea, said: "TU Dublin is delighted to support Shelbourne FC Women's WNL Team for the upcoming season. Shelbourne FC is a well-established club across Dublin. We are excited to work with them in different aspects of community involvement, which is central to both of our organisations. By supporting the Shelbourne Women's National League Team, we are creating pathways for women in the sport to play at an elite level, and highlighting the prospects available to them in University. I wish to thank Shelbourne FC for their time in building this partnership and look forward to celebrating the successes of our players on and off the pitch for the season ahead."
