Welcome to TU Dublin
In just over a week, TU Dublin will begin welcoming returning students to our campuses across Dublin, with first-years due a few days later.
First-Year Students
A very warm welcome to TU Dublin and the start of your next big adventure! We hope this is the start of an exciting and rewarding journey – an opportunity to meet new people, enjoy new experiences and reach your full potential.
If you have accepted an offer, you will shortly receive a welcome ezine packed with all the information you need to start your studies with TU Dublin. You will also find this information on our website.
If you're an international student, we encourage you to read this information before travelling to Dublin and please do contact our International Office if you have any questions.
Returning Students
We're really looking forward to your return to TU Dublin starting from Monday, 20 September 2021. We've been working hard over the summer months to prepare our buildings in Grangegorman, Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Blanchardstown and Tallaght for your safe return to campus for the new academic year. We know the last couple of years have been tough for many of us, but the good news is that brighter days are here, and you will spend up to 60% of your time on campus. More information about your first semester is available here.
Timetables will also be published on Wednesday, 15 September.
COVID-19 Precautions
TU Dublin will continue to take precautions to keep staff and students safe, and students will be expected to play their part. This will include:
- Wear an effective face-covering on campus – not a visor or face shield
- Sanitise hands on arrival and wash hands frequently while on campus
- Maintain physical distancing and avoid congregating in groups, unless it is for an organised and controlled event
- Remember to cover coughs and sneezes
- Where possible open windows and door
- Download the COVID Tracker
Here is a quick reference guide about what to do if you become unwell with possible COVID-19 symptoms on campus, and you can read more about our COVID-19 measures here.
Finally, if you have not received a COVID-19 vaccine, we would encourage you to register for an appointment as soon as possible – to protect yourself and our University community. More information is available from the HSE.
Whether you're an apprentice, studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level or part-time, we can't wait to see you on campus. In the meantime, why not follow us on social media so you can keep up to date with all the exciting stuff we're up to! Don't forget to tag us and use our hashtags #WeAreTUDublin and #InfinitePossibilities
