TU Dublin Marketing Students Raise Over €17,000 for Charity
BSc Marketing students in TU Dublin have raised over €17,000 over the last 10 days for a range of charities, including Jigsaw, Amnesty International and Pieta House.
The students based in Aungier Street were challenged to fundraise for a charity of their choice by designing and implementing a digital marketing plan. Unsurprisingly, a lot of groups have chosen mental health charities to raise money for this year as during lockdown; they have been keeping busy doing daily sea swims, 5K individual running challenges and virtual events fundraisers.
Lesley Murphy, a Lecturer in Sales and Marketing at TU Dublin said, ''The Marketing students excelled in Level 5 lockdown, it's a great achievement raising €17k for charities and causes that the students hold close to their hearts. It would be very remiss of me as a Sales & Marketing lecturer if I didn't give you a call to action, so here it is, DONATE TODAY!''
