TU Dublin Governing Body Seeks to Appoint a new Non-Executive Chair
The Governing Body of TU Dublin is now seeking to appoint a new Non-Executive Chair. Through leadership of the Governing Body, the Chair plays a central role in the effective governance and strategic oversight of the University.
The successful candidate will have a significant track record of leadership and governance at a senior strategic level in large, complex organisations and will command the trust and respect of the members of the Governing Body, as well as that of the University’s staff, students and key stakeholders.
Whether from the private, public or non-governmental sectors, candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment and affinity towards higher education and will have a deep understanding of the values and importance of public-facing institutions and universities specifically. This is a non-remunerated role, and the new Chair may be appointed for a term of up to four years and can be reappointed for a second term of up to four years.
