TU Dublin Donates PPE Equipment To Hospitals and Care Facilities
TU Dublin has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to hospitals and care facilities across Dublin.
While our usually thriving workshops and laboratories across TU Dublin are out of action, staff across the University have gathered up stocks of PPE to donate to hospitals and care facilities in the front line in the fight against Covid-19.
Schools of Science, Engineering, Architecture and Creative Arts have given stocks of equipment normally used by students to the Meath Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, St. James's Hospital, Tallaght University Hospital, Naas General Hospital and Temple Street Children's University Hospital. These included safety glasses, gloves, visors, ingredients for sanitisers, hairnets, shoe covers.
