Yen Phan embarked on her academic journey at Technological University Dublin and University of Oxford, specialising in Pharmaceutical Science and Medical Statistics. During her career, Yen has seamlessly blended the rigor of academic research with the pragmatism required in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Founder and Senior Clinical Data Scientist at CodLad since May 2019, she has applied her expertise in data analysis and pharmaceutical sciences towards the development and evaluation of innovative biopharmaceutical products.
Yen is an associate lecturer with a rich background in both academia and industry, Yen stands at the intersection of pharmaceutical sciences and data analysis, bringing real-world applications and theoretical knowledge into the classroom. With over 8 years of experience in teaching roles at various academic institutions, Yen has contributed significantly to the fields of mathematics, statistics, and pharmaceutical sciences. These roles include serving as an associate lecturer at Technological University Dublin and a lecturer at Innopharma Education, where Yen covers a broad spectrum of subjects from technical mathematics to bioprocessing manufacturing technology. Additionally, Yen's tenure as a guest lecturer at Independent College Dublin, focusing on data analysis and statistics, showcases a commitment to imparting specialized knowledge and analytical skills to students.
She is an active Professional Member of Irish Computer Society, British Computer Society, a Lifetime member of Oxford Union and a Committee member of CDISC TMF (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium Trial Master File).
