Bio
Dr Claire McDonnell is an Organic Chemistry lecturer in the School of Chemical & BioPharmaceutical Sciences at Technological University Dublin and is programme chair for TU851, our BSc in Analytical Chemistry (Environmental, Forensic and Pharmaceutical) .
She was an Assistant Head of School from Sept 2016-Sept 2022 and, from 2013-6, undertook a 3 year secondment as a Learning Development Officer with the TU Dublin Learning Teaching and Technology Centre. She was a founding member of the Chemical Education Research Team in DIT, and is currently Treasurer of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Higher Education Group. She has prior experience in the fine chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
