Location

Carol's office is in the City Campus Central Quad, room CQ-119.  She mostly works within the Optics and Radiation laboratories.

 

Education

2003    MPhil from DIT (TU Dublin), entitled “High-Speed Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry”
2001     BSc (Physics & Physics Technology) with First Class Honors from DIT (TU Dublin)
1999     Diploma in Applied Science (Physics) from DIT (TU Dublin)

 

Achievements

• Awarded the Loctite Medal and the Cardiac Services Perpetual Award for the best overall academic achievement in Physics/Chemistry and in Physics respectively (1999)
• Obtained a Certificate for Optometric/Dispensing Assistants from Anglia Ruskin University
• Competed the ECDL from eCollege

Interests

Carol previously sat on the Board of Marriage Equality Ireland.  She is a member of a golf club and has completed several marathons.
