Dr Catriona Barrett is a lecturer and year 4 class tutor on the BSc Optometry programme. She also leads a postgraduate professional development module for optometrists ‘glaucoma detection in optometric practice’ and supervises both undergraduate and postgraduate research. Catriona is a CORU registered optometrist currently practicing at the National Optometry Centre in TU Dublin. Catriona is also a member of TU Dublin’s 2023-2025 Academic Council, the statutory body charged with establishing and maintaining the academic standards and enhancing the quality of the student experience of the University.
