World Space Week
On Friday 6th October, as part of World Space Week, two members of the School of Physics, Clinical and Optometric Sciences made a presentation to the audience in the concert hall of the East Quad of the Grangegorman campus.
Hannah Currivan spoke about her career in the Irish space industry including her experience working on European Space Agency (ESA) contracts.
Dr Justin Donnelly told the story of his recent collaboration with artist Gillian Fitzpatrick to put their piece of art into Earth orbit on board the International Space Station.
