SPIE Optics and Optoelectronics Conference, April 2023
This week, postgraduate students and researchers from IEO/School of Physics, Clinical and Optometric Sciences presented their research at the SPIE Optics and Optoelectronics 24-27 April 2023 Conference in Prague. The conference brought together leading researchers in the advancement of the technology, integration, and application of optics and optoelectronic devices in emerging photonics fields including the extreme light technologies that drive Europe’s largest infrastructure projects.
Delivering, one invited talk, four research presentations and one research poster, the research team- Dipanjan Chakraborty, Faolan Radford McGovern, Michael Murray, Jorge Lasarte, Owen Kearny, Pamela Stoeva, Dr Rosen Georgiev, Dr Suzanne Martin and Professor Izabela Naydenova promoted TU Dublin research, met existing and future collaborators and enjoyed the beautiful city of Prague.
Dr Martin and Prof Naydenova commented: “Sharing research insights on an international stage is vital for the advancement of optics and optoelecronics to further benefit society. We were delighted to support our students in this opportunity to broaden their horizons, and continue their career development.“
