Clinical Measurement Science Students Present Baby Boxes to TUSLA
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and TU868/2 making Sustainable Development Goals relevant at Programme Level
A very proud moment - on the 1st February, CMS’s TU868 year 2 students showed their commitment to societal engagement and had a very positive impact on TU Dublin’s local community by donating baby boxes to TUSLA’s Lead Social Worker. The Baby Box project was part of a class assessment where students were asked to focus on SDGs in particular reducing poverty and good health and wellbeing. The students showcased their knowledge of SDGs by delivering a presentation on SDGs and working as a team to create their baby box.
The baby boxes were filled with items of clothing, wipes, nappies and other essential baby items. The boxes were presented to TUSLA to be distributed to help provide a good start to a body’s life or to help a baby under the protection of TUSLA’s services.
