Background
Amit Jaiswal, PhD, is a Lecturer at the School of Food Science and Environmental Health, Technological University Dublin-City Campus, Ireland. He is also the Programme Coordinator for MSc in Sustainable Food Safety Management. Amit completed his Bachelor's degree from Andhra University, India in 2003 and earned his Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Jiwaji University, India in 2005. In 2012, he was awarded a PhD in Food Technology from TU Dublin-City Campus. Following this, he continued his post-doctoral research in the same department and worked on several food technology projects. Prior to joining TU Dublin-City Campus, Amit worked at the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, India for almost three years. He also holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University, India.
