Year 3 BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutical Healthcare Students Share Work Placement Experiences
On Thursday, 5th September, after months of dedication and hard work, our Year 3 BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutical Healthcare (TU875) students proudly presented their work placement experiences to their peers and the programme team. The event showcased not only the variety of professional environments our students were immersed in, but also the tremendous growth they’ve achieved in their knowledge, skills, and confidence over the past nine months. Congratulations to all the students for their outstanding efforts!
To capture their journey, the students were asked to summarise their placement experiences in just three words, and the results spoke for themselves, highlighting the valuable and rewarding nature of their time in the industry. It is clear that this experience has been both enjoyable and transformative, providing a solid foundation as they move into their final year of studies. We wish them the very best in the coming academic year.
Dr Renee Malone and Dr Tao Zhang, work placement coordinators, would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the placement hosts and industry supervisors. Your ongoing support, guidance, and encouragement have been pivotal in the students’ professional and personal development. This partnership between industry and academia continues to play a vital role in preparing our students for their future careers in the (bio)pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
We look forward to continuing these strong industry collaborations in the years to come.
