Visit to Rediscovery Centre

Published: 12 Nov, 2024

Master students from Sustainable Food Safety Management programme had the pleasure to visit today the Rediscovery Centre located in Ballymun, Dublin. It has been an enriching experience seeing how the Rediscovery Centre, which is the National Centre for the Circular Economy, embeds sustainability in all aspects. Rediscovery Centre’s mission is to lead Ireland’s transition to a circular economy and a sustainable future, to which students were informed about their food waste management in place in relation with Food Rescue Café as well as other initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable practices and nurturing a culture of reuse and creativity within the community. Thanks to school management, tour guides and staff from Rediscovery Centre to made this fieldtrip possible.
