TU654 (DT425) Alumni Sharing Initiative

Published: 28 May, 2024

In line with the launch of TU Dublin's New Education Model focusing on Learner Experience, Learner Choice, and Learner Support, the Pharmacy Technician Studies Programme Team has initiated an exciting new project this semester: TU654 (DT425) Alumni Sharing. This initiative involves interviewing pharmacy technician graduates to learn about their career journeys, their experiences in the programme, and the impact it has had on their professional careers so far.

As the semester draws to a close, the Programme Team would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the following graduates for their participation, generous support, and valuable insights. It has been wonderful to see the diverse backgrounds our graduates brought to the course, witness the positive and impactful experiences they have had, and observe their career development beyond Pharmacy Technician roles. This reflects the core focus of the programme: equipping students with essential scientific and professional knowledge and skills, building their confidence, and unlocking their career potential.

The Programme Team would also like to express our gratitude to Ms. Leonor O’Connor, former President of the National Association of Hospital Pharmacy Technicians (NAHPT) and Senior Pharmacy Technician at St. James's Hospital, for participating in the Industry Exclusive Interview. Her insights into the industry and feedback on the program have been incredibly valuable.
