Lewis More O'Ferrall a graduate of BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutical Healthcare successfully and confidently defended his PhD thesis 12th September 2024. His research was on Next generation Gallium complexes to combat Antimicrobial Resistance, supervised by Dr Darren Griffith, RCSI and Prof Christine O'Connor, School of Food Science and Environmental Health. Lewis had an opportunity to discuss all of the excellent collaborations he was involved in during his viva. Thanks to the examiners Assoc. Prof Kogularamanan Suntharalingam, University of Leicester and Dr Maureen Walsh, TU Dublin. We wish Lewis the best of luck in his future endeavours and thank him for his guest talks during his PhD research to the undergraduate students.
