The chapter, "Incorporating a Sustainable ePortfolio Model Within the Curriculum for Enhanced Professional Development: Building Bridges in Pharmacy Technician Education" (Chapter 11), explores innovative strategies for embedding professional development into pharmacy technician education. It highlights how sustainable ePortfolios can enhance student learning and support career progression.
Congratulations to all chapter authors (Dr Tao Zhang, Dr Seána Hogan, Kathryn Young, Mary-Therese McGrath, Jill Barrett and Dr Julie Dunne) for their dedication, expertise and contributions.
A special thank you to Dr Julie Dunne, Head of the School of Food Science and Environmental Health, for her continuous support and for laying the foundation of both the Pharmacy Technician Studies Programme and the Professional Development ePortfolio module.
The authors also extend their appreciation to the book’s editor, Ângelo Jesus, and IGI Global Scientific Publishing for providing this opportunity and for their support throughout the process.
