Biography
Dr Sara Lynch completed her PhD entitled ‘Intraepithelial lymphocytes of the human small intestine: their phenotype and maturation’ in 1994 under the supervision of Professor Cliona O’Farrelly, Immunology Department, CPL, St. James’ Hospital, Dublin 8, Ireland. She subsequently moved to the RCSI to work with Professor Geraldine McCarthy on calcium crystal deposition diseases. She then moved to the DIT in December 2000 and is currently appointed as a lecturer in molecular and clinical immunology in the School of Biological Sciences. She is also the course director for the level 8, one year add-on, biomolecular science degree, DT226A.
