Biography
Prior to joining DIT, Gwilym Williams was previously Head of International Programmes at the Enterprise Ireland Biotechnology Directorate. Between 1998 and 2002 he was General Manager of the National Agricultural and Veterinary Biotechnology Centre at University College Dublin. Prior to this he worked for a British biotechnology company, Proteus Molecular Design plc., and also held lectureships in microbiology-biotechnology at the Dublin Institute of Technology (1987 – 1992) and at Trinity College Dublin (1992 – 1993).
