TU Dublin School of Architecture, Building and Environment Lecturers' Success in Town Centre Living / DHLGH and RIAI Housing Competitions
On Thursday, 15 June. the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O'Brien, announced the winning proposals for the RIAI Town Centre Living architectural design competition.
These competitions encouraged architects and design teams to develop innovative designs for social housing projects in town centres, as supported by the government Town Centre First policy. From 114 entries, winning proposals were jury selected for each participating town - Roscrea, Castleblayney, Sligo and Kildare.
Of the four winning entries, three were by TU Dublin School of Architecture, Building and Environment lecturers. Congratulations to Dominic Stevens, JFOC Architects, Dermot Boyd, Boyd Cody Architects, Cian Deegan, and Alice Casey, TAKA Architects, for their success in this important competition.
